Dear Sirs,

We, Beijing SenseTime Technology Development Co., Ltd. (“SenseTime”) recently has been aware that a GitHub user called “TheMuppets” has posted SenseTime owned copyrighted proprietary and confidential documents (software codes) to your website in its repository “proprietary_vendor_oneplus”.

In this infringing repository are statements declaring Sensetime’s license in document “license.lic” (URL: 9bd9caaa35/msm8998-common/proprietary/etc/camera/license.lic).

These non-open source documents, of which SenseTime possesses the copyright, are posted by user “TheMuppets” in the repository “proprietary_vendor_oneplus” (URL: https://github.com/TheMuppets/proprietary_vendor_oneplus) without SenseTime’s permission. We confirm that the document shows below that located in the repository is infringing on our copyright. This letter is sent to request your assistance as follows:

Specifically, the infringing document is identified at 9bd9caaa35/msm8998-common/proprietary/etc/camera/license.lic.

The unauthorized copying, disclosure and distribution of SenseTime's confidential and copyrighted documents shall constitute a violation of both trade secret and copyright laws and take civil and/or criminal liabilities.

Pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), please remove all the documents in the repository, which infringe SenseTime's copyrights by reproducing substantial portions of SenseTime's confidential and proprietary software codes. Please also remove all previous versions in 338 commits under the repository “proprietary_vendor_oneplus” so as to prevent potential infringements in the future.

We also request that you identify to us your source(s) for these documents, so that we can contact those parties who released the sources and request them to delete and/or remove the documents under their control.

This letter is not intended to be a full statement of the facts, or prejudice or waive any claim, whether in law or in equity, that SenseTime may have with respect to this matter or any other matters. If you have any questions concerning this matter, please contact SenseTime.
