Contributing

Submitting a pull request
- Fork and clone the repository
- Configure and install the dependencies:
bundle install
- Make sure the tests pass on your machine:
bundle exec rspec
- Create a new branch:
git checkout -b my-branch-name
- Make your change, add tests, and make sure the tests still pass
- Push to your fork and submit a pull request
- Pat your self on the back and wait for your pull request to be reviewed and merged.
Here are a few things you can do that will increase the likelihood of your pull request being accepted:
- Follow the style guide.
- Write tests.
- Keep your change as focused as possible. If there are multiple changes you would like to make that are not dependent upon each other, consider submitting them as separate pull requests.
- Write a good commit message.

Releasing
If you are the current maintainer of this gem:
- Merge whatever PRs are to be included in your new version into the
master
branch. - Increment the version in
lib/ssh_data/version.rb
, following SemVer. - Run
bundle install
to update the version inGemfile.lock
. - Make a commit with a message lik
bump version to 0.0.1
and push this tomaster
. - Run
gem build ssh_data.gemspec
to build a newssh_data-<VERSION>.gem
. - Run
gem push ssh_data-<VERSION>.gem
to publish the new version to rubygems.org.
