Krzysztof Kozlowski 8b6ad5840f dt-bindings: thermal: correct thermal zone node name limit
commit 97e32381d0fc6c2602a767b0c46e15eb2b75971d upstream.

Linux kernel uses thermal zone node name during registering thermal
zones and has a hard-coded limit of 20 characters, including terminating
NUL byte. The bindings expect node names to finish with '-thermal'
which is eight bytes long, thus we have only 11 characters for the reset
of the node name (thus 10 for the pattern after leading fixed character).

Frank Rowand 282f0c63cf of: overlay: rework overlay apply and remove kfree()s
[ Upstream commit 067c098766 ]

Fix various kfree() issues related to of_overlay_apply().
  - Double kfree() of fdt and tree when init_overlay_changeset()
    returns an error.
  - free_overlay_changeset() free the root of the unflattened
overlay (variable tree) instead of the memory that contains
    the unflattened overlay.
  - For the case of a failure during applying an overlay, move kfree()
    of new_fdt and overlay_mem into free_overlay_changeset(), which
is called by the function that allocated them.
  - For the case of removing an overlay, the kfree() of new_fdt and
    overlay_mem remains in free_overlay_changeset().
  - Check return value of of_fdt_unflatten_tree() for error instead
of checking the returned value of overlay_root.
  - When storing pointers to allocated objects in ovcs, do so as
near to the allocation as possible instead of in deeply layered
    function.

More clearly document policy related to lifetime of pointers into
overlay memory.

Bryan O'Donoghue 3fb8d10bee dt-bindings: msm: dsi-controller-main: Fix power-domain constraint
commit a6f033938b upstream.

power-domain is required for the sc7180 dispcc GDSC but not every qcom SoC
has a similar dependency for example the apq8064.

Most Qcom SoC's using mdss-dsi-ctrl seem to have the ability to
power-collapse the MDP without collapsing DSI.

For example the qcom vendor kernel commit for apq8084, msm8226, msm8916,
msm8974.

7b5c011a77

"ARM: dts: msm: add mdss gdsc supply to dsi controller device

It is possible for the DSI controller to be active when MDP is
power collapsed. DSI controller needs to have it's own vote for
mdss gdsc to ensure that gdsc remains on in such cases."

This however doesn't appear to be the case for the apq8064 so we shouldn't
be marking power-domain as required in yaml checks.

incorrectly so now the fourth clock name is defined as "pcie_inbound_axi

The existing bindings allow for just 1024 cache-sets but the fu740 on
Unmatched the has 2048 cache-sets. The ISA itself permits any arbitrary
power of two, however this is not supported by dt-schema. The RTL for
the IP, to which the number of cache-sets is a tunable parameter, has
been released publicly so speculatively adding a small number of
"reasonable" values seems unwise also.

Instead, as the binding only supports two distinct controllers: add 2048
and explicitly lock it to the fu740's l2 cache while limiting 1024 to
the l2 cache on the fu540.
