Kishon Vijay Abraham I 7e52a39f19 phy: ti: j721e-wiz: Delete "clk_div_sel" clk provider during cleanup
commit 091876cc35 ("phy: ti: j721e-wiz: Add support for WIZ module
present in TI J721E SoC") modeled both MUX clocks and DIVIDER clocks in
wiz. However during cleanup, it removed only the MUX clock provider.
Remove the DIVIDER clock provider here.

Kishon Vijay Abraham I 549cb1ae3e phy: ti: j721e-wiz: Remove "regmap_field" from wiz_clk_{mux|div}_sel
Both "struct wiz_clk_div_sel" and "struct wiz_clk_mux_sel" are static
data that is common for all wiz instances. Including
"struct regmap_field" for each of the wiz instances can yield undesirable
results. Move "struct regmap_field" out of "struct wiz_clk_div_sel" and
"struct wiz_clk_mux_sel" and make them point to constant data.

So far no issues are observed since both these structures are not
accessed outside the probe.

Konstantin Porotchkin 2fc989f74b drivers: phy: add support for Armada CP110 UTMI PHY
Add support for Marvell CP110 UTMI PHY driver allowing the USB2
port configuration independently from the boot loader setup.
The CP110/CP115 dies have 2 UTMI PHYs that could be connected
to two USB host controllers or to single USB device controller.
Since there is only one USB device controller on die, only one
of the UTMI PHYs could work in USB device mode.
The CONFIG_PHY_MVEBU_CP110_UTMI should be enabled for usage of
this driver.

Amelie Delaunay 5b1af71280 phy: stm32: rework PLL Lock detection
USBPHYC has a register per phy to control and monitor the debug interface
of the HS PHY through a digital debug access.
With this register, it is possible to know if PLL Lock input to phy is
high. That means the PLL is ready for HS operation.
Instead of using an hard-coded delay after PLL enable and PLL disable, use
this bit to ensure good operating of the HS PHY.
Also use an atomic counter (n_pll_cons) to count the actual number of PLL
consumers and get rid of stm32_usbphyc_has_one_phy_active.
The boolean active in the usbphyc_phy structure is kept, because we need to
know in remove if a phy_exit is required to properly disable the PLL.

Colin Ian King b097efba95 drm/mediatek: avoid dereferencing a null hdmi_phy on an error message
Currently there is a null pointer check for hdmi_phy that implies it
may be null, however a dev_err messages dereferences this potential null
pointer. Avoid a null pointer dereference by only emitting the dev_err
message if hdmi_phy is non-null. It is a moot point if the error message
needs to be printed at all, but since this is a relatively new piece of
code it may be useful to keep the message in for the moment in case there
are unforseen errors that need to be reported.

Sergio Paracuellos 0e055d179e phy: ralink: phy-mt7621-pci: drop 'COMPILE_TEST' from Kconfig
This driver includes the following two files directly:
- mt7621.h
- ralink_regs.h

Compilation for its related platform properly works because
its real path is included in 'arch/mips/ralink/Platform' as
cflags.

This driver depends on RALINK but also is enabled for COMPILE_TEST
where nothing about its platform is known and this directly
included files are not found at all breaking compilation.

If we want 'COMPILE_TEST' we have to change cflags also inside
'phy/ralink' subdirectory Makefile which seems that does not
like to linux-phy maintainers. Hence remove COMPILE_TEST from
Kconfig to avoid the problem.

In order to keep OTG ID detection even when in Host mode, the ID line of

This fixes OTG switch on GXL, GXM & AXG platforms, otherwise once switched

there is any bootloader with its own DTB using old the binding.

Manivannan Sadhasivam 6edf7700a9 phy: qcom-qmp: Add SM8250 PCIe QMP PHYs
SM8250 has multiple different PHY versions:
QMP GEN3x1 PHY - 1 lane
QMP GEN3x2 PHY - 2 lanes
QMP Modem PHY - 2 lanes

Add support for these with relevant init sequence. In order to abstract
the init sequence, this commit introduces secondary tables which can
be used to factor out the unique sequence for each PHY while the former
tables can have the common sequence.

Marc Zyngier eb9c4dd9bd phy: tegra: xusb: Fix dangling pointer on probe failure
If, for some reason, the xusb PHY fails to probe, it leaves
a dangling pointer attached to the platform device structure.

This would normally be harmless, but the Tegra XHCI driver then
goes and extract that pointer from the PHY device. Things go
downhill from there:

Al Cooper 209c805835 phy: usb: Fix incorrect clearing of tca_drv_sel bit in SETUP reg for 7211
The 7211a0 has a tca_drv_sel bit in the USB SETUP register that
should never be enabled. This feature is only used if there is a
USB Type-C PHY, and the 7211 does not have one. If the bit is
enabled, the VBUS signal will never be asserted. In the 7211a0,
the bit was incorrectly defaulted to on so the driver had to clear
the bit. In the 7211c0 the state was inverted so the driver should
no longer clear the bit. This hasn't been a problem because all
current 7211 boards don't use the VBUS signal, but there are some
future customer boards that may use it.

Pull drm updates from Dave Airlie:
"Not a major amount of change, the i915 trees got split into display
and gt trees to better facilitate higher level review, and there's a
major refactoring of i915 GEM locking to use more core kernel concepts
(like ww-mutexes). msm gets per-process pagetables, older AMD SI cards
get DC support, nouveau got a bump in displayport support with common
  code extraction from i915.

Outside of drm this contains a couple of patches for hexint
moduleparams which you've acked, and a virtio common code tree that
you should also get via it's regular path.
