Kees Cook 27e5041a87 pstore: Add locking around superblock changes
Nothing was protecting changes to the pstorefs superblock. Add locking
and refactor away is_pstore_mounted(), instead using a helper to add a
way to safely lock the pstorefs root inode during filesystem changes.

Thomas Falcon 784688993e drivers/net/ibmvnic: Update VNIC protocol version reporting
VNIC protocol version is reported in big-endian format, but it
is not byteswapped before logging. Fix that, and remove version
comparison as only one protocol version exists at this time.

Hangbin Liu 96d10d5b19 neigh: fix ARP retransmit timer guard
In commit 19e16d220f ("neigh: support smaller retrans_time settting")
we add more accurate control for ARP and NS. But for ARP I forgot to
update the latest guard in neigh_timer_handler(), then the next
retransmit would be reset to jiffies + HZ/2 if we set the retrans_time
less than 500ms. Fix it by setting the time_before() check to HZ/100.

IPv6 does not have this issue.

 (used by their video driver) and a couple of devicetree fixes, mostly
 for 32-bit ARM, and fairly harmless:
 
 - On OMAP2 there were a few regressions in the ethernet drivers,
   one of them leading to an external abort trap
 
 - One Raspberry Pi version had a misconfigured LED
 
 - Interrupts on Broadcom NSP were slightly misconfigured
 
 - One i.MX6q board had issues with graphics mode setting
 
 - On mmp3 there are some minor fixes that were submitted for
   v5.8 with a cc:stable tag, so I ended up picking them up
   here as well
 
 - The Mediatek Video Codec needs to run at a higher frequency
   than configured originally

spi: spi-fsl-dspi: fix native data copy
ColdFire is a big-endian cpu with a big-endian dspi hw module,
so, it uses native access, but memcpy breaks the endianness.

So, if i understand properly, by native copy we would mean
be(cpu)->be(dspi) or le(cpu)->le(dspi) accesses, so my fix
shouldn't break anything, but i couldn't test it on LS family,
so every test is really appreciated.

the subtractions at steps 11 and 12 bring the smin_value negative.

Then the shift clears the top bit and smin_value is set to 0. Note we still
have the smax_value in the fixed code so any reads will fail. An alternative
would be to have reg_sane_check() do both smin and smax value tests.

To fix the test we can omit the 'r1 >>=8' at line 13. This will change the
err string, but keeps the intention of the test as suggseted by the title,
"check after truncation of boundary-crossing range". If the verifier logic
changes a different value is likely to be thrown in the error or the error
will no longer be thrown forcing this test to be examined. With this change
we see the new state at step 13.

now because of the mixed signed bounds pointer arithmatic. This seems OK so
I've only added the unpriv_errstr for this. Another optino may have been to
do addition on r1 instead of subtraction but I favor the approach above
slightly.

John Fastabend 3a71dc366d bpf: Fix a verifier issue when assigning 32bit reg states to 64bit ones
With the latest trunk llvm (llvm 11), I hit a verifier issue for
test_prog subtest test_verif_scale1.

The following simplified example illustrate the issue:

In real test_verif_scale1 code, "w9 = 0" and "w2 = w9" are in
different basic blocks.

In the above, after "r6 += r2", r6 becomes a scalar, which eventually
caused the memory access error. The correct register state should be
a pkt pointer.

The inprecise register state starts at "w2 = w9".
The 32bit register w9 is 0, in __reg_assign_32_into_64(),
the 64bit reg->smax_value is assigned to be U32_MAX.
The 64bit reg->smin_value is 0 and the 64bit register
itself remains constant based on reg->var_off.

In adjust_ptr_min_max_vals(), the verifier checks for a known constant,
smin_val must be equal to smax_val. Since they are not equal,
the verifier decides r6 is a unknown scalar, which caused later failure.

The llvm10 does not have this issue as it generates different code:

To fix the above issue, we can include zero in the test condition for
assigning the s32_max_value and s32_min_value to their 64-bit equivalents
smax_value and smin_value.

Further, fix the condition to avoid doing zero extension bounds checks
when s32_min_value <= 0. This could allow for the case where bounds
32-bit bounds (-1,1) get incorrectly translated to (0,1) 64-bit bounds.
When in-fact the -1 min value needs to force U32_MAX bound.

Add a call to mlx5e_reset_rx/tx_moderation() when enabling/disabling
adaptive moderation, in order to select the proper default values.

In order to do so, we separate the logic of selecting the moderation values
and setting moderion mode (CQE/EQE based).

On tunnel decap rule insertion, the indirect mechanism will attempt to
offload the rule on all uplink representors which will trigger the
"devices are not on same switch HW, can't offload forwarding" message
for the uplink which isn't on the same switch HW as the VF representor.

The above flow is valid and shouldn't cause warning message,
fix by removing the warning and only report this flow using extack.

spi: Convert DW SPI binding to DT schema
Modern device tree bindings are supposed to be created as YAML-files
in accordance with dt-schema. This commit replaces two DW SPI legacy
bare text bindings with YAML file. As before the bindings file states
that the corresponding dts node is supposed to be compatible either
with generic DW APB SSI controller or with Microsemi/Amazon/Renesas/Intel
vendors-specific controllers, to have registers, interrupts and clocks
properties. Though in case of Microsemi version of the controller
there must be two registers resources specified. Properties like
clock-names, reg-io-width, cs-gpio, num-cs, DMA and slave device
sub-nodes are optional.

Partially revert the above mentioned commit to restore readability

Baikal-T1 SoC provides a DW DMA controller to perform low-speed peripherals
Mem-to-Dev and Dev-to-Mem transaction. This is also applicable to the DW
APB SSI devices embedded into the SoC. Currently the DMA-based transfers
are supported by the DW APB SPI driver only as a middle layer code for
Intel MID/Elkhart PCI devices. Seeing the same code can be used for normal
platform DMAC device we introduced a set of patches to fix it within this
series.

First of all we need to add the Tx and Rx DMA channels support into the DW
APB SSI binding. Then there are several fixes and cleanups provided as a
initial preparation for the Generic DMA support integration: add Tx/Rx
finish wait methods, clear DMAC register when done or stopped, Fix native
CS being unset, enable interrupts in accordance with DMA xfer mode,
discard static DW DMA slave structures, discard unused void priv pointer
and dma_width member of the dw_spi structure, provide the DMA Tx/Rx burst
length parametrisation and make sure it's optionally set in accordance
with the DMA max-burst capability.

In order to have the DW APB SSI MMIO driver working with DMA we need to
initialize the paddr field with the physical base address of the DW APB SSI
registers space. Then we unpin the Intel MID specific code from the
generic DMA one and placed it into the spi-dw-pci.c driver, which is a
better place for it anyway. After that the naming cleanups are performed
since the code is going to be used for a generic DMAC device. Finally the
Generic DMA initialization can be added to the generic version of the
DW APB SSI IP.

Last but not least we traditionally convert the legacy plain text-based
dt-binding file with yaml-based one and as a cherry on a cake replace
the manually written DebugFS registers read method with a ready-to-use
for the same purpose regset32 DebugFS interface usage.

bcm2711, Rasberry Pi 4's SoC, shares one interrupt for multiple
instances of the bcm2835 SPI controller. So this enables shared
interrupt support for them.

The early bail out in the interrupt routine avoids messing with buffers
of transfers being done by other means. Otherwise, the driver can handle
receiving interrupts asserted by other controllers during an IRQ based
transfer.

Fix several issues in the previous gfs2_find_jhead fix:
* When updating @blocks_submitted, @block refers to the first block block not
  submitted yet, not the last block submitted, so fix an off-by-one error.
* We want to ensure that @blocks_submitted is far enough ahead of @blocks_read
  to guarantee that there is in-flight I/O.  Otherwise, we'll eventually end up
  waiting for pages that haven't been submitted, yet.
* It's much easier to compare the number of blocks added with the number of
  blocks submitted to limit the maximum bio size.
* Even with bio chaining, we can keep adding blocks until we reach the maximum
  bio size, as long as we stop at a page boundary.  This simplifies the logic.

spi: dw: Add DMA support to the DW SPI MMIO driver
Since the common code in the spi-dw-dma.c driver is ready to be used
by the MMIO driver and now provides a method to generically (on any
DT or ACPI-based platforms) retrieve the Tx/Rx DMA channel handlers,
we can use it and a set of the common DW SPI DMA callbacks to enable
DMA at least for generic "snps,dw-apb-ssi" and "snps,dwc-ssi-1.01a"
devices.

spi: dw: Cleanup generic DW DMA code namings
Since from now the former Intel MID platform layer is used as a generic
DW SPI DMA module, let's alter the internal methods naming to be
DMA-related instead of having the "mid_" prefix.

spi: dw: Add DW SPI DMA/PCI/MMIO dependency on the DW SPI core
Seeing all of the DW SPI driver components like DW SPI DMA/PCI/MMIO
depend on the DW SPI core code it's better to use the if-endif
conditional kernel config statement to signify that common dependency.

spi: dw: Remove DW DMA code dependency from DW_DMAC_PCI
Since there is a generic method available to initialize the DW SPI DMA
interface on any DT and ACPI-based platforms, which in general can be
designed with not only DW DMAC but with any DMA engine on board, we can
freely remove the CONFIG_DW_DMAC_PCI config from dependency list of
CONFIG_SPI_DW_DMA. Especially seeing that we don't use anything DW DMAC
specific in the new driver.
