Operating systems known to work with the mssql extension
The list contains operating systems that mssql extension is confirmed to work. If you are successfully using an operating system which are not listed below, please create an issue item and let the team know about it.
- Windows (64-bit only) - Windows 10 is recommended.
- macOS
- Ubuntu 14.04 / Linux Mint 17 / Linux Mint 18 / Elementary OS 0.3
- Ubuntu 16.04 / Elementary OS 0.4
- Debian 8.2
- CentOS 7.1 / Oracle Linux 7
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Fedora 23
- OpenSUSE 13.2
For Linux distros not listed above, it may be possible to run the extension using Offline Installation of a offline vsix for a similar distro, but this is not an officially supported scenario.
