-Wshadow warnings are not enabled globally, so these -Wno-shadow suppressions have no effect. I had intended to enable -Wshadow globally along with these suppressions in some directories (in bug 1272513), but that was blocked by other issues.
There are too many -Wshadow warnings (now over 2000) to realistically fix them all. We should remove all these unnecessary -Wno-shadow flags cluttering many moz.build files.

This commit adds a new command line option |-xpcshell| that, when passed, will
run an xpcshell instead of launching a full Gecko instance.
This command line option is restricted to org.mozilla.geckoview.test for now,
as it's really hard to use and not really a usecase outside mozilla. We can
revisit this if there's interest.

We know that some GV installations (particularly but not exlcusively Focus) are
failing to load `libxul.so` during early Gecko bootstrapping. Unfortunately
a boolean pass/fail result is not giving us sufficient information to be able to
properly troubleshoot this problem.
This patch adds `mozilla::Result`-based return values to `XPCOMGlueLoad` and
`GetBootstrap` in an effort to produce more actionable information about these
failures.
We include either a `nsresult` or, if the failure is rooted in a dynamic linker
failure, appropriate platform-specific error information:
* On Unix-based platforms, a `UniqueFreePtr<char>` containing the string from `dlerror(3)`;
* On Windows, the Win32 `DWORD` error code from `GetLastError()`.
For non-Android platforms, I updated them to handle the new return type, but
otherwise did not make any further changes.
For Android, we include the error information in the message string that we pass
into the Java `Exception` that is subsequently thrown.

Allow-list all Python code in tree for use with the black linter, and re-format all code in-tree accordingly.
To produce this patch I did all of the following:
1. Make changes to tools/lint/black.yml to remove include: stanza and update list of source extensions.
2. Run ./mach lint --linter black --fix
3. Make some ad-hoc manual updates to python/mozbuild/mozbuild/test/configure/test_configure.py -- it has some hard-coded line numbers that the reformat breaks.
4. Make some ad-hoc manual updates to `testing/marionette/client/setup.py`, `testing/marionette/harness/setup.py`, and `testing/firefox-ui/harness/setup.py`, which have hard-coded regexes that break after the reformat.
5. Add a set of exclusions to black.yml. These will be deleted in a follow-up bug (1672023).

As far as I can tell there is no single entry-point into C++ code on Android.
Instead, GeckoThread and GeckoLibLoader call various functions to load libraries one-by-one.
We want to capture all that library loading in the profiler, so we need to kick off the base profiler at the beginning of whichever function is called first.

Apps targeting SDK 29 are not allowed to open /dev/ashmem directly, and
instead must use NDK functions. Those functions are only available in
SDK 26 and higher, so we need this shim to use the functions if they
are available, else fallback to opening /dev/ashmem directly.

When Android shuts down the ndk process, it doesn't call the registered
atexit() handlers, which is normally where the profile data gets written
to file. Since the PGO test suite closes the browser when it is
finished, the nativeRun routine can manually call out to
__llvm_profile_dump() before returning.
This method has a downside that only the profile data from the calling
library gets written out, rather than for the whole process. Since we
are most interested in optimizing libxul, a new hook is added in
Bootstrap to make sure we get the profile data for the right library.

Adding or removing an FD from this API currently requires changes in about a
half dozen places. Ignoring the Java side of things. This patch changes the
API to pass a struct, rather than additional arguments for each FD, so that
adding and removing FDs only requires changing one declaration, and the two
call sites that add and consume the FDs.
