when creating a news account, don't set the username to be the username
part of the email address (from the wizard).
this fixes bug #154213 , a problem with the account picker in the subscribe dialog
cause by the bogus username

Fixing bug 150471. Fixing the cases where accountValues could be checked before we try to save the values on the page. This will help us to make sure accountmanager proceeds to store the values only on those pages where accountValues is filled in. In case of SMTP advanced panel, values are already saved and reflected. r=srilatha, sr=sspitzer
