Hiroyuki Ikezoe 04d8b367bf Bug 1596317 - Split out CallState from nsGlobalWindowInner. r=smaug
We do want to use it for nsContentUtils::CallOnAllRemoteChildren and
SubDocEnumFunc since `boolean` is quite confusing whether we still need to
enumerate further children or not, actually
nsContentUtils::CallOnAllRemoteChildren stops in case of `true`, whereas
SubDocEnumFunc stops on `false`

Kris Maglione e38327a944 Bug 1588220: Keep track of last active inner window when BrowsingContext is discarded. r=bzbarsky
Any number of outer windows may be attached to a BrowsingContext over its
lifetime. While the BrowsingContext is alive, it's easy to keep track of which
of these is active, and therefore which of its inner windows is active. After
it has been discarded, though, it discards its docShell reference, so all we
can tell about an inner window is whether it is active for its own outer
window, but not whether it should be considered active for its
BrowsingContext.

This patch updates the BrowsingContext detach logic to store a flag on the
current inner window recording that it was active when its BrowsingContext was
detached, and then later checks that flag to determine if it is the current
window for a detached BrowsingContext.

Added @rbarker as a reviewer to check if this will work well within GeckoView for FxR / Android.
Added @bzbarsky for test_interfaces.html. -- I'd like to re-land the secure origin requirement for WebVR as part of this patch, as it doesn't help to have UI that can't guarantee the identity of the origin. (This was backed out due to test failures originally, and since been fixed)

Dzmitry Malyshau 1c5b01ed15 Bug 1575008 - WebGPU implementation basis r=baku, bzbarsky
This change vendors `wgpu` library in-tree and hooks up the initialization bits. It implements adapter and device initialization and adds a simple test.

    - [x] figure out the IPC story
    - [ ] move wgpu crates into a dedicated folder (postponed as https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1594182)

    - [x] libbacktrace fails to link on win32 mingw
    - [x] cc mislinking C++ standard library
  - [x] Android
    - [x] spirv-cross fails to build due to exceptions

Update-1:
We decided to go with IPDL mechanism instead of Rust based ipc-channel (or any alternatives), which unblocks Windows build.

Update-2:
It appears that WebGPUThreading isn't needed any more as the child thread (and its event loop) is now managed by IPDL infrastructure. This PR removes it 🎉 .

Update-3:
InstanceProvider is also removed.

Update-4:
All set, the try is green, waiting for dependent changes to go in.

Dzmitry Malyshau 9ac41ecccf Bug 1575008 - WebGPU implementation basis r=webidl, baku
This change vendors `wgpu` library in-tree and hooks up the initialization bits. It implements adapter and device initialization and adds a simple test.

Current status:
  - [x] Architecture
    - [x] figure out the IPC story
    - [ ] move wgpu crates into a dedicated folder (let's follow up with this)

    - [x] due to some exceptional stuff - https://github.com/grovesNL/spirv_cross/issues/121
    - [x] undefined symbol: `D3D12CreateDevice`
    - [x] d3d12.dll is not found, dxgi1_4 doesn't present
    - [x] d3d11.dll and dxgi.dll need to be explicitly loaded on win32 mingw - https://github.com/gfx-rs/gfx/pull/3076

  - [x] Android
    - [x] spirv-cross fails to build - https://github.com/KhronosGroup/SPIRV-Cross/pull/1193

Kris Maglione 00bef42aff Bug 1588220: Keep track of last active inner window when BrowsingContext is discarded.

Tom Tung ad81303d2e Bug 1562667 - P1 - Refine isCrossOriginIsolated check and agentcluster check for postmessage; r=nika
This patch does:
- Rename CanShareMemory to IsCrossOriginIsolated
- Only check COOP and COEP on the serializing side
- Check if the caller AgentClusterId is same as target on the deserializng side

Note that this patch assumes that it's safe to not throw for the case that the
target window is navigated to another origin but in the same agent cluster while
the MessageEvent is in-flight.

The change from `globalHolder->GetGlobalJSObject()` to `global.Get()` is OK,
because `globalHolder` was coming from the nsISupports attached to

Boris Zbarsky e6c83d06e3 Bug 1548613. Get rid of FastGetGlobalJSObject. r=mccr8,jonco
Marking GetGlobalJSObject and GetGlobalJSObjectPreserveColor final and inline
on inner/outer windows allows compilers to de-virtualize and inline them, which
makes them just as fast as calling FastGetGlobalJSObject is now (in the case of
GetGlobalJSObjectPreserveColor; GetGlobalJSObject has to do the gray-unmarking,
which is a bit more work).

In WindowDestroyedEvent::Run we want to switch to GetGlobalJSObject(), because
we want to root the object and hence should unmark gray.

In nsGlobalWindowInner::RunTimeoutHandler we likewise want to unmark gray. The
AutoEntryScript constructor likely did that already, but it's not that
expensive when it doesn't need to do any work.

This patch passes a message through the HangMonitor channel when navigating

it could end up in an inconsistent state due to the JS cancellation.

Boris Zbarsky 709be5f5e2 Bug 1528146. Fix how web extensions are injected into about:blank. r=kmag
The basic idea is to make non-initial about:blank fire
document-element-inserted notifications just like every other document. We
then ensure that there's a notification (initial-document-element-inserted)
that only gets fired once per window for documents that are in a window. This
notification is what webextensions use to inject into the document.

The old setup which injected into about:blank when its global is created gets
removed in favor of injecting the same way as into every other document.

The changes to Document.cpp are fixing a bug in the "block the parser" stuff
webextensions do. For about:blank, the blocking happens at a point when the
parser really has nothing else to parse (since it's parsing the empty string).
So the blocking is a no-op. But we do want to prevent DOMContentLoaded firing,
because otherwise the "end of document" scripts could run before we finish
doing the "beginning of document" work in webextensions. So we want to make
sure we block DOMContentLoaded, not just the load event.

Emilio Cobos Álvarez d2ed260822 Bug 1517241 - Rename nsIDocument to mozilla::dom::Document. r=smaug
Summary: Really sorry for the size of the patch. It's mostly automatic
s/nsIDocument/Document/ but I had to fix up in a bunch of places manually to
add the right namespacing and such.

Overall it's not a very interesting patch I think.

nsDocument.cpp turns into Document.cpp, nsIDocument.h into Document.h and
nsIDocumentInlines.h into DocumentInlines.h.

I also changed a bunch of nsCOMPtr usage to RefPtr, but not all of it.

While fixing up some of the bits I also removed some unneeded OwnerDoc() null
checks and such, but I didn't do anything riskier than that.
