The cooling device properties, like "#cooling-cells" and
"dynamic-power-coefficient", should either be present for all the CPUs
of a cluster or none. If these are present only for a subset of CPUs of
a cluster then things will start falling apart as soon as the CPUs are
brought online in a different order. For example, this will happen
because the operating system looks for such properties in the CPU node
it is trying to bring up, so that it can register a cooling device.
Add such missing properties.

The OPP properties, like "operating-points", should either be present
for all the CPUs of a cluster or none. If these are present only for a
subset of CPUs of a cluster then things will start falling apart as soon
as the CPUs are brought online in a different order. For example, this
will happen because the operating system looks for such properties in
the CPU node it is trying to bring up, so that it can create an OPP
table.
Add such missing properties.
Fix other missing property (clock latency) as well to make it all
work.

The hog pinctrl hog is meant for pins that do not have an
associated driver.
The MX53_PAD_GPIO_0__CCM_SSI_EXT1_CLK pin is the one that
provides the MCLK signal to the SGTL5000 codec, so a
better represenation is to move it under the codec node.
While at it, change the pinctrl value from 0x80000000 to the
POR reset value of register IOMUXC_SW_PAD_CTL_PAD_GPIO_0.

The wake-up pin is pulled low with 100kOhm on the carrier board.
The current configuration of 100kOhm pull-up caused lots of
interrupts, especially during boot up. Make sure the pin is at a
reasonable level at startup by pulling it low on SoC side too.

Muxing the card detect only in the carrier board device tree
overwrites the USDHC muxing in the module level device tree.
Move card detect to the module level device tree since this
is also a default pinout of the Colibri standard. If a carrier
board requires a different setting it still can overwrite the
nodes in the carrier board specific device tree.

The pinctrl settings were incorrect for the touchscreen interrupt line, causing
an interrupt storm. This change has been tested with both the atmel_mxt_ts and
RMI4 drivers on the RDU1 units.
The value 0x4 comes from the value of register IOMUXC_SW_PAD_CTL_PAD_CSI1_D8
from the old vendor kernel.

This was removed in commit 5eaeaccdae ("ARM: dts: imx7d-sdb: Pass
'enable-gpios' and 'power-supply' properties") with a note claiming that
GPIO1_IO01 is connected to a pin labeled as "PWREN" on the connector.
Despite that label this pin does actually work as a PWM controlling
brightness. So restore pwm functionality.

The OPPs for the A83T CPU cores were added in v4.17 in commit 2db639d8c1
("ARM: dts: sun8i: a83t: add stable OPP tables and CPUfreq"), but board
level regulator supplies for the CPU clusters were only added for the
TBS-A711 tablet. This means the other A83T boards do not benefit from
voltage scaling, or worse, if the implementation does not scale the
frequency when the voltage is fixed, no benefit at all.
Add board level CPU cluster power supplies to all the A83T development
boards, so they can have proper dynamic CPU voltage and frequency scaling.

Add all entries needed for HDMI to function properly.
Since R40 has highly configurable pipeline, both mixers and both TCON
TVs are added. Board specific DT should then connect them together
trough TCON TOP muxers to best fit the purpose of the board.

This patch adds dt bindings to enable netcp network driver on K2G
ICE boards. This consists of enabling bindings for NSS qmss, pktdma,
2u ethss, mdio, pinmux and netcp devices as well as DP83867 phy.
EVM hardware spec recommends to add 0.25 nsec delay in the tx direction
and 2.25 nsec delay in the rx direction for internal delay in the clock
path to be on the safer side.
The board straps RX_DV/RX_CTRL pin of on board DP83867 phy in mode 1.
The phy data manual disallows this. Add ti,dp83867-rxctrl-strap-quirk
in the phy node to allow software to enable the workaround suggested for
this incorrect strap setting. This ensures proper operation of this PHY.

This patch add dt bindings to support network driver based on
Network Sub System (NSS) found on k2g SoC. This consists of
bindings for netcp node, nss qmss , pktdma, cpsw 2u version
of ethss and mdio.
In order to support transitioning between non-promiscuous
and promiscuous modes in K2G's ethernet switch, netcp ALE
needs to be enabled. Therefore this patch enables K2G's
netcp ALE for that purpose.

Use the correct IRQ line for the MSI controller in the PCIe host
controller. Apparently a different IRQ line is used compared to other
i.MX6 variants. Without this change MSI IRQs aren't properly propagated
to the upstream interrupt controller.

Two different regulators are defined with the same name and label but
distinct properties.
The first definition was added with the first board dts and the second
was added when upstream added flexcan support.
Looking at schematics it is indeed gpio2 14 connected to the STB pin of
the CAN transceiver so remove the first definition.
The second definition entirely overrides the first so this already
worked and this patch results in no DTB change, just a cleanup.

When using the board files the LCD works, but not with the DT.
This adds enables the original da850-evm to work with the same
LCD in device tree mode.
The EVM has a gpio for backlight regulator and a PWM for dimming
the backlight. The LCD and the vpif display pins are mutually
exclusive, so if using the LCD, do not load the vpif driver.

"dynamic-power-coefficient", should either be present for all the CPUs
of a cluster or none. If these are present only for a subset of CPUs of
a cluster then things will start falling apart as soon as the CPUs are
brought online in a different order. For example, this will happen
because the operating system looks for such properties in the CPU node
it is trying to bring up, so that it can register a cooling device.
Add such missing properties.
Fix other missing properties (clocks, OPP, clock latency) as well to
make it all work.

Operating points need to be present in each cpu core using it, not only
the first one. With operating-points-v1 this would require duplicating
this table into each cpu node.

Add PMIC nodes to Porter and connect CPU DVFS supply. There is
one DA9063L and one DA9210 on Porter, the only difference from
the other boards is that DA9063L is at I2C address 0x5a rather
than 0x58 .

Enable USB OTG (dual-role) on the Wandboard.
Note, that the USB_OTG_VBUS current is quite limited due to a 22R resistor

Make sure that MX51_PAD_GPIO1_1 does not remain configure as
ALT0/SD1_WP (it is out of reset). This is needed because of external
pull-up resistor attached to that pad that, when left unchanged, will
drive SD1_WP high preventing eSDHC1/eMMC from working correctly.
To fix that add a pinmux configuration line configureing the pad to
function as a GPIO. While we are at it, add a corresponding
output-high GPIO hog in an effort to minimize current consumption.

According to the reference manual the shp_2_mcu / mcu_2_shp
scripts must be used for devices connected through the SPBA.
This fixes an issue we saw with DMA transfers.
Sometimes the SPI controller RX FIFO was not empty after a DMA
transfer and the driver got stuck in the next PIO transfer when
it read one word more than expected.
commit dd4b487b32 ("ARM: dts: imx6: Use correct SDMA script
for SPI cores") is fixing the same issue but only for SPI1 - 4.

This adds support for an optional device-tree property that
makes the driver skip all the delays around clocking the
GPIOs and set it in the device-tree of common POWER9 based
OpenPower platforms.
This useful on chips like the AST2500 where the GPIO block is
running at a fairly low clock frequency (25Mhz typically). In
this case, the delays are unnecessary and due to the low
precision of the timers, actually quite harmful in terms of
performance.

- Consolidation of softirq pending:
The softirq mask and its accessors/mutators have many implementations
scattered around many architectures. Most do the same things
consisting in a field in a per-cpu struct (often irq_cpustat_t)
accessed through per-cpu ops. We can provide instead a generic
efficient version that most of them can use. In fact s390 is the only
exception because the field is stored in lowcore.
- Support for level!?! triggered MSI (ARM)
Over the past couple of years, we've seen some SoCs coming up with
ways of signalling level interrupts using a new flavor of MSIs, where
the MSI controller uses two distinct messages: one that raises a
virtual line, and one that lowers it. The target MSI controller is in
charge of maintaining the state of the line.
This allows for a much simplified HW signal routing (no need to have
hundreds of discrete lines to signal level interrupts if you already
have a memory bus), but results in a departure from the current idea
the kernel has of MSIs.

The PXA3xx series features some extended GPIO banks which are named GPIO0_2,
GPIO1_2 etc. The PXA300, PXA310 and PXA320 have different numbers of such
pins, and they also have variant-specific register offsets.

The PXA GPIO driver calls out to the pinctrl driver for claiming pins
unless the config has CONFIG_PINCTRL unset. IOW, if a pinctrl driver is
active, it must be visible to the GPIO driver.

This adds the USB controllers to the DT template of the
AST24xx and AST25xx SoCs.
This patch doesn't enable them by default on any board specific
.dts yet. This will be done when we have the necessary clock/reset
and pinmux support. In the meantime though, this will work if
u-boot configures things properly.
For the AST2400 I only added pinmux definition for port 1
which is dual USB1/USB2. There are additional USB1 only ports
that might require more work but I don't have HW to test at
hand so I'm leaving that to whoever cares.

On the Chromecast, the bootloader provides us with an ATAG_MEM of
start=0x01000000 and size=0x3eff8000. This is clearly incorrect, as the
range given encompasses nearly a GiB but the Chromecast only has 512MiB
of RAM! Additionally, this causes the kernel to be decompressed at
0x00008000, below the claimed beginning of RAM, and so the boot fails.
Since the existing ATAG parsing code runs before the kernel is even
decompressed and irrevocably patches the device tree, don't even try
to bypass it. Instead, use the "linux,usable-memory" property instead
of the "reg" property to define the real range. The ATAG code only
overwrites reg, but linux,usable-memory is checked first in the OF
driver, so the fact that reg gets changed makes no difference.

The touchscreen driver no longer configures the device as wakeup source by
default. A "wakeup-source" property is needed.
To avoid regressions, this patch changes the DTS files for the only two
users of this driver that didn't have this property yet.

Vybrid has single internal temperature sensor connected to both internal
ADC modules.
vf610-zii-dev already has ADC0 enabled. Now, to get temperature sensor
captured by iio_hwmon driver, need to configure iio_hwmon node to use

The Bananapi M2 Ultra has a Realtek RTL8211E RGMII PHY tied to the GMAC.
The PMIC's DC1SW output provides power for the PHY, while the ALDO2
output provides I/O voltages on both sides.

The R40 SoC has a GMAC (gigabit capable Ethernet controller). Add a
device node for it. The only publicly available board for this SoC
uses an RGMII PHY. Add a pinmux node for it as well.
Since this SoC also has an old 10/100 Mbps EMAC, which also has an
MDIO bus controller, the MDIO bus for the GMAC is labeled "gmac_mdio".

The device nodes dereference (&foo) usages should be sorted by the label
names, barring any parsing order issues such as the #include statement
for the PMIC's .dtsi file that must come after the PMIC.

The AM3517-EVM by Logic PD has a Logic PD type 15 display LCD
attached to the baseboard, and the SOM itself has an integrated
touchscreen controller. This patch enables both the LCD and
the tsc2004 on the SOM.

The am3517-evm consists of an am3517 SOM-M2 and a baseboard.
As items are added that are unique to the baseboard, let's place
them in a file called am3517-som.dtsi. These items will be
common for all variants of the SOM.
Anything unique to the baseboard will be placed into
am3517-evm.

The OMAP3 CM-T3x based boards define 2 /connector nodes for S-Video and
DVI output. However, since they have the same node name, the S-Video
connector overwritten. This leaves a dangling graph connection which
gives the following warning:

omap3-devkit8000-common.dtsi defines a graph connection for DVI, but
then omap3-devkit8000-lcd-common.dtsi overrides that with a graph
connection for the LCD as the same output signals are used. This
leaves an incomplete graph as the TFP410 output has only half a
connection. The result is the following warning:

For PCI, the second and third cell in ranges specifies the upper and
lower target address for address translation. This target address will
be used to program the internal address translation unit (iATU).
The current device tree configuration will program the iATU to translate
CPU accesses to 0x08000000 to PCI address 0x0 (with TLP type MEM).
The device tree configuration also specifies that CPU acesses to
0x0fe00000 will be translated to PCI address 0x0 (with TLP type I/O).
We cannot have both I/O space and memory space at PCI address 0x0.
The PCI code already uses the CPU address when assigning addresses to
memory BARs, so for memory space the PCI address should be the same as
the CPU address. This also matches how all other device trees using
snps,dw-pcie are configured.
The existing configuration appears to work, even if it is incorrect.
For some reason the iATU doesn't obey the existing configuration,
and doesn't translate CPU accesses from 0x08000000 to PCI address 0x0.
The reason why the existing configuration works at all is probably
because the default behavior, when there is no match, is to use the
untranslated address. This happens to work for memory space, since
it's a 1:1 mapping. However, instead of relying on this behavior,
let's configure the iATU correctly.

The QSEE (trustzone) is started on IPQ4019 before Linux is started.
According to QCA, it is placed in in the the memory region
0x87e80000-0x88000000 and must not be accessed directly. There is an
additional memory region 0x87e00000-0x87E80000 smem which which can be used
for communication with the TZ. The driver for the latter is not yet ready
but it is still not allowed to use this memory region like any other
memory region.
Not reserving this memory region either leads to kernel crashes, kernel
hangs (often during the boot) or bus errors for userspace programs. The
latter happens when a program is using a memory region which is mapped to
these physical memory regions.

This patch marks all the gsbi i2c node at soc level dtsi, so that kernel
would not assume that its enabled and result in pin conflicts when gsbi
is used for UART or SPI.
Without this patch we see below pin conflict.

The Denali NAND x-clock should be supplied by nand_x_clk, not by
nand_clk. Fix this, otherwise the Denali driver gets incorrect
clock frequency information and incorrectly configures the NAND
timing.

R-Mobile APE6 (r8a73a4) contains four Cortex-A15 and four Cortex-A7
cores, hence the second interrupt specifier cell for Private Peripheral
Interrupts should use "GIC_CPU_MASK_SIMPLE(8)", so GIC interrupts are
delivered to all 8 processor cores.

For soc level of clocks which are input to Clock Control Module, clock
driver expects them to be under 'clocks' container node. But for board
level clocks, this container is not really necessary. Let's drop it and
use an unique name for fixed rate clock, so that 'reg' property can be
saved as well.

The clk32 clock is an input clock to CCM module, and should be defined
in soc dtsi rather than a board level dts. Let's move it into
imx1.dtsi.
While at it, let's drop unnecessary #address-cells/#size-cells from

The board specific pinctrl function container node 'imx6x-sabreauto' is
not really necessary, since commit 5fcdf6a7ed ("pinctrl: imx: Allow
parsing DT without function nodes"). Let's drop it to save one level of
indentation.

Let's drop the 'regulators' container node by giving VCC_SD3 an unique
name and removing 'reg' property, so that the fixed regulator can be
under root node directly.
