Our `ops' information was converted to a local variable recently, and
apparently, old code relied on the fact that the global version was
often left in a valid mode. We can't make this assumption on local
structs, and we shouldn't be relying on a previous state anyway.
Instead, we initialize mode to 0 for don't-care situations (i.e., the
operation does not use OOB anyway) and MTD_OPS_PLACE_OOB when we want to
place OOB data.
This fixes a bug with nand_default_block_markbad(), where we catch on

In rare cases, we are given an unaligned parameter `from' in
`nand_do_read_ops()'. In such cases, we use the page cache
(chip->buffers->databuf) as an intermediate buffer before dumping to the
client buffer. However, there are also cases where this buffer is not
cleanly reusable. In those cases, we need to make sure that we
explicitly invalidate the cache.
This patch prevents accidental reusage of the page cache, and for me,
this solves some problems I come across when reading a corrupted BBT
from flash (NAND_BBT_USE_FLASH and NAND_BBT_NO_OOB).
Note: the rare "unaligned" case is a result of the extra BBT pattern +
version located in the data area instead of OOB.
Also, this patch disables caching on raw reads, since we are reading
without error correction. This is, obviously, prone to errors and should
not be cached.

Updates to our default function for creating bad block patterns have
broken the "no OOB" feature. The NAND_BBT_NO_OOB option should not be
set while scanning for bad blocks, but we've been passing all BBT
options from nand_chip.bbt_options to the bad block scan. This causes us
to hit the:
BUG_ON(bd->options & NAND_BBT_NO_OOB);
in create_bbt() when we scan the flash for bad blocks.
Thus, while it can be legal to set NAND_BBT_NO_OOB in a custom badblock
pattern descriptor (presumably with NAND_BBT_CREATE disabled?), we
should not pass it through in our default function.
Also, to help clarify and emphasize that the function creates bad block
patterns only (not, for example, table descriptors for locating
flash-based BBT), I renamed `nand_create_default_bbt_descr' to
`nand_create_badblock_pattern'.

Because there are so many cases of checking, writing, and re-writing of
the bad block table(s), we might as well wait until the we've settled on
a valid, clean copy of the table. This also prevents us from falsely
incrementing the table version. For example, we may have the following:
Primary table, with version 0x02
Mirror table, with version 0x01
Primary table has uncorrectable ECC errors
If we don't have this fix applied, then we will:
Choose to read the primary table (higher version)
Set mirror table version to 0x02
Read back primary table
Invalidate table because of ECC errors
Retry readback operation with mirror table, now version 0x02
Mirrored table reads cleanly
Writeback BBT to primary table location (with "version 0x02")
However, the mirrored table shouldn't have a new version number.
Instead, we actually want:
Choose to read the primary table (higher version)
Read back primary table
Invalidate table because of ECC errors
Retry readback with mirror table (version 0x01)
Mirrored table reads cleanly
Set both tables to version 0x01
Writeback BBT to primary table location (version 0x01)

Now that `read_bbt()' returns ECC error codes properly, we handle those
codes when checking the integrity of our flash-based BBT.
The modifications can be described by this new policy:
*) On any uncorrected ECC error, we invalidate the corresponding table
and retry our version-checking integrity logic.
*) On corrected bitflips, we mark both tables for re-writing to flash
(a.k.a. scrubbing).
Current integrity checks (i.e., comparing version numbers, etc.) should
take care of all the cases that result in rescanning the device for bad
blocks or falling back to the BBT as found in the mirror descriptor.

Instead of just printing a warning when encountering ECC errors, we
should return a proper error status and print a more informative
warning. Later, we will handle these error messages in the upper layers
of the BBT scan.
Note that this patch makes our check for ECC error codes a little bit
more restrictive, leaving all unrecognized errors to the generic "else"
clause. This shouldn't cause problems and could even be a benefit.
This code is based on some findings reported by Matthieu Castet.

There are a few reasons not to ignore ECC errors here.
First, mtd->read_oob is being called in raw mode, so there should be no
error correction in the first place.
Second, if we change this such that there *is* error correction in this
function, then we will want to pass the error message upward.
In fact, the code I introduced to "ignore ECC errors" would have been
better if it had just placed this test down in `scan_block_full()' in
the first place. We would like to ignore ECC errors when we are simply
checking for bad block markers (e.g., factory marked), but we may not
want to ignore ECC errors when scanning OOB for a flash-based BBT
pattern (in `scan_read_raw()'; note that the return codes from
`scan_read_raw()' are not actually handled yet).

This fixes issues with `nanddump -n' and the MEMREADOOB[64] ioctls on
hardware that performs error correction when reading only OOB data. A
driver for such hardware needs to know when we're doing a RAW vs. a
normal write, but mtd_do_read_oob does not pass such information to the
lower layers (e.g., NAND). We should pass MTD_OOB_RAW or MTD_OOB_PLACE
based on the MTD file mode.
For now, most drivers can get away with just setting:
chip->ecc.read_oob_raw = chip->ecc.read_oob
This is done by default; but for systems that behave as described above,
you must supply your own replacement function.
This was tested with nandsim as well as on actual SLC NAND.

This fixes issues with `nandwrite -n -o' and the MEMWRITEOOB[64] ioctls
on hardware that writes ECC when writing OOB. The problem arises as
follows: `nandwrite -n' can write page data to flash without applying
ECC, but when used with the `-o' option, ECC is applied (incorrectly),
contrary to the `--noecc' option.
I found that this is the case because my hardware computes and writes
ECC data to flash upon either OOB write or page write. Thus, to support
a proper "no ECC" write, my driver must know when we're performing a raw
OOB write vs. a normal ECC OOB write. However, MTD does not pass any raw
mode information to the write_oob functions. This patch addresses the
problems by:
1) Passing MTD_OOB_RAW down to lower layers, instead of just defaulting
to MTD_OOB_PLACE
2) Handling MTD_OOB_RAW within the NAND layer's `nand_do_write_oob'
3) Adding a new (replaceable) function pointer in struct ecc_ctrl; this
function should support writing OOB without ECC data. Current
hardware often can use the same OOB write function when writing
either with or without ECC
This was tested with nandsim as well as on actual SLC NAND.

Instead of directly calling printk, it's simpler to use the built-in
pr_* functions. This shortens code and allows easy customization through
the definition of a pr_fmt() macro (not used currently). Ideally, we
could implement much of this with dev_* functions, but the MTD subsystem
does not necessarily register all its master `mtd_info.dev` device, so
we cannot use dev_* consistently. See:

Soon we will change many printk statements into pr_* statements, i.e.,
'printk(KERN_INFO, ...)' becomes 'pr_info(...)'. However, this means that
KERN_DEBUG messages will become pr_debug() statements and therefore will
not be activated by default - they must be enabled using dynamic debug.
So, for important DEBUG messages, we will simply upgrade these to INFO
so that they appear by default.

both be workable. This patch enable this feature.
Update platform driver to support this feature.
Another notice should be taken that:
When you want to use this feature, you should not enable the
keep configuration feature, for two chip select could be
attached with different nand chip. The different page size
and timing requirement make the keep configuration impossible.

The eLBC NAND driver currently follows up each program/write operation with a
read-back of the page, in order to [ostensibly] fill in ECC data for the
caller. However, the page address used for this read is always -1, so the read
will never work correctly. Remove this useless (and potentially problematic)
block of code.

- no need to take into account the NAND bus width: SMC will deal with this
- use of an IO memcpy on the NAND chip-select space is able to generate
proper SMC behavior.

Now that nand_do_readoob() may return -EUCLEAN or -EBADMSG on ECC errors,
we need to handle the return value specially in some cases.
When scanning for simple bad block markers, reacting to an ECC error is
not very useful, as we assume that the relevant markers are still
non-0xFF for true bad blocks.

While the standard NAND OOB functions do not do ECC on the spare area,
it is possible for a driver to supply its own OOB ECC functions (e.g., HW
ECC). nand_do_read_oob should act like nand_do_read_ops in checking the
ECC stats and returning -EBADMSG or -EUCLEAN on uncorrectable errors or
correctable bitflips, respectively. These error codes could be used in
flash-based BBT code or in YAFFS, for example.
Doing this, however, messes with the behavior of mtd_do_readoob. Now,
mtd_do_readoob should check whether we had -EUCLEAN or -EBADMSG errors
and discard those as "non-fatal" so that the ioctls can still succeed
with (possibly uncorrected) data.

In nand_do_write_ops() code it is possible for a caller to provide
ops.oobbuf populated and ops.mode == MTD_OOB_AUTO, which currently
means that the chip->oob_poi buffer isn't initialised to all 0xFF.
The nand_fill_oob() method then carries out the task of copying
the provided OOB data to oob_poi, but with MTD_OOB_AUTO it skips
areas marked as unavailable by the layout struct, including the
bad block marker bytes.
An example of this causing issues is when the last OOB data read
was from the start of a bad block where the markers are not 0xFF,
and the caller wishes to write new OOB data at the beginning of
another block. In this scenario the caller would provide OOB data,
but nand_fill_oob() would skip the bad block marker bytes in
oob_poi before copying the OOB data provided by the caller.
This means that when the OOB data is written back to NAND,
the block is inadvertently marked as bad without the caller knowing.
This has been witnessed when using YAFFS2 where tags are stored
in the OOB.
To avoid this oob_poi is always initialised to 0xFF to make sure
no left over data is inadvertently written back to the OOB area.

Currently atmel_nand driver used by AT91 and AVR32 calls a special callback
which return nand partition table and number of partitions. However in all
boards this callback returns just static data. So drop this callback and
make atmel_nand use partition table provided statically via platform_data.

According to our new prefix rules, we should rename NAND_CREATE_EMPTY_BBT

The NAND_CREATE_EMPTY_BBT flag was added by commit:
453281a973
mtd: nand: introduce NAND_CREATE_EMPTY_BBT
This flag is not used within the kernel and not explained well, so I
took the liberty to edit its comments.
Also, this is a BBT-related flag (and closely tied with NAND_BBT_CREATE)
so I'm moving it to bbm.h next to NAND_BBT_CREATE, thus requiring that
we use the flag in nand_chip.bbt_options, *not* in nand_chip.options.

Recall the recently added prefix requirements:
* "NAND_" for flags in nand.h, used in nand_chip.options
* "NAND_BBT_" for flags in bbm.h, used in nand_chip.bbt_options
or in nand_bbt_descr.options
Thus, I am changing NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT to NAND_BBT_USE_FLASH.
Again, this flag is found in bbm.h and so should NOT be used in the
"nand_chip.options" field.

This patch works with the following three flags from two headers (nand.h
and bbm.h):
(1) NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT (nand.h)
(2) NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT_NO_OOB (nand.h)
(3) NAND_BBT_NO_OOB (bbm.h)
These flags are all related and interdependent, yet they were in
different headers. Flag (2) is simply the combination of (1) and (3) and
can be eliminated.
This patch accomplishes the following:
* eliminate NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT_NO_OOB (i.e., flag (2))
* move NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT (i.e., flag (1)) to bbm.h
It's important to note that because (1) and (3) are now both found in
bbm.h, they should NOT be used in the "nand_chip.options" field.
I removed a small section from the mtdnand DocBook because it referes to
NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT in nand.h, which has been moved to bbm.h.

This patch handles the problems we've been having with using conflicting
flags from nand.h and bbm.h in the same nand_chip.options field. We
should try to separate these two spaces a little more clearly, and so I
have added a bbt_options field to nand_chip.
Important notes about nand_chip fields:
* bbt_options field should contain ONLY flags from bbm.h. They should be
able to pass safely to a nand_bbt_descr data structure.
- BBT option flags start with the "NAND_BBT_" prefix.
* options field should contian ONLY flags from nand.h. Ideally, they
should not be involved in any BBT related options.
- NAND chip option flags start with the "NAND_" prefix.
* Every flag should have a nice comment explaining what the flag is. While
this is not yet the case on all existing flags, please be sure to write
one for new flags. Even better, you can help document the code better
yourself!
Please try to follow these conventions to make everyone's lives easier.
Among the flags that are being moved to the new bbt_options field
throughout various drivers, etc. are:
* NAND_BBT_SCANLASTPAGE
* NAND_BBT_SCAN2NDPAGE
and there will be more to come.

This patch reverts most of:
commit 58373ff0af
mtd: nand: more BB Detection refactoring and dynamic scan options
According to the discussion at:
http://lists.infradead.org/pipermail/linux-mtd/2011-May/035696.html
the NAND_BBT_SCANBYTE1AND6 flag, although technically valid, can break
some existing ECC layouts that use the 6th byte in the OOB for ECC data.
Furthermore, we apparently do not need to scan both bytes 1 and 6 in
the OOB region of the devices under consideration; instead, we only need
to scan one or the other.
Thus, the NAND_BBT_SCANBYTE1AND6 flag is at best unnecessary and at
worst a regression.

Remove linux/mm.h inclusion from netdevice.h -- it's unused (I've checked manually).
To prevent mm.h inclusion via other channels also extract "enum dma_data_direction"
definition into separate header. This tiny piece is what gluing netdevice.h with mm.h
via "netdevice.h => dmaengine.h => dma-mapping.h => scatterlist.h => mm.h".
Removal of mm.h from scatterlist.h was tried and was found not feasible
on most archs, so the link was cutoff earlier.

When reading/writing a subpage (When HW ECC is not available/enabled)
for number of bytes not aligned to 4, the mis-aligned bytes are handled
first (by cpu copy method) before enabling the Prefetch engine to/from
'p'(start of buffer 'buf'). Then it reads/writes rest of the bytes with
the help of Prefetch engine, if available, or again using cpu copy method.
Currently, reading/writing of rest of bytes, is not done correctly since
its trying to read/write again to/from begining of buffer 'buf',
overwriting the mis-aligned bytes.
Read & write using prefetch engine got broken in commit '2c01946c'.
We never hit a scenario of not getting 'gpmc_prefetch_enable' call
success. So, problem did not get caught up.

nand_scan calls nand_scan_tail and here we got a ecc.layout and calculate
oobavail for this layout. After calling nand_scan, we change the layout pointer
if OMAP_ECC_HAMMING_CODE_HW_ROMCODE is set. This results in not calcluated
oobavail. Mountig as jffs2 is not possible.
To fix that nand_scan has to split up in nand_scan_ident and nand_scan_tail
setting ecc.layout between these calls. So nand_scan_tail calculates oobvail
for the used layout. This is also done in serveral other platforms.

It is nicer to dynamically create our badblock patterns than to
statically define them. The nand_create_default_bbt_descr() function
does a sufficient job of handling various bad block scanning options
for either flash-based or non-flash-based BBTs, so we might as well
use the function for both cases.
This patch simplifies and shortens our code (and removes a TODO that
I left a few months ago).

Do the following to add support for up to 4 chips on V21 devices (i.MX25 and
i.MX35):
* implement .select_chip for V21
* adjust existing NFC_V1_V2_BUF_ADDR writes to take chip select into account
* unlock all chip selects at preset_v1_v2()
* scan up to 4 devices at .probe
This has been tested on i.MX25 with two attached NAND chip (on one die).

remove au_readl/au_writel, remove the predefined GPIO1/2 KSEG1 register
addresses and fix the fallout in all boards and drivers.
This also fixes a bug in the mtx-1_wdt driver which was introduced by
commit 6ea8115bb6
("Convert mtx1 wdt to be a platform device and use generic GPIO API")
before this patch mtx-1_wdt only modified GPIO215, the patch then
used the gpio resource information as bit index into the GPIO2 register
but the conversion to the GPIO API didn't realize that.
With this patch the drivers original behaviour is restored and GPIO15
is left alone.

NOTE!
This merge commit was created to fix compilation error. The block
tree was merged upstream and removed the 'elv_queue_empty()'
function which the new 'mtdswap' driver is using. So a simple
merge of the mtd tree with upstream does not compile. And the
mtd tree has already be published, so re-basing it is not an option.
To fix this unfortunate situation, I had to merge upstream into the
mtd-2.6.git tree without committing, put the fixup patch on top of
this, and then commit this. The result is that we do not have commits
which do not compile.
In other words, this merge commit "merges" 3 things: the MTD tree, the
upstream tree, and the fixup patch.

This patch adds option 'bch' to nandsim, which can be used to enable

This patch adds software BCH ECC support to mtd, in order to handle recent
NAND device ecc requirements (4 bits or more).
It does so by adding a new ecc mode (NAND_ECC_SOFT_BCH) for use by board
drivers, and a new Kconfig option to enable BCH support. It relies on the
generic BCH library introduced in a previous patch.
When a board driver uses mode NAND_ECC_SOFT_BCH, it should also set fields
chip->ecc.size and chip->ecc.bytes to select BCH ecc data size and required
error correction capability. See nand_bch_init() documentation for details.
It has been tested on the following platforms using mtd-utils, UBI and
UBIFS: x86 (with nandsim), arm926ejs.

The DaVinci NAND driver was including the mach-types.h header
file.
This prevented the DaVinci NAND driver from getting used
in a DSP only device. The linux port on c6x devices can make
use of the same driver and does not define a corresponding
header file.
This header file was required in the driver because earlier there was code
dependent on a machine_* check. This piece of code has now been factored out
and is in arch/arm/mach-davinci/aemif.c
Thus removing the header file is harmless

byte (with 6 byte ECC) at a time.
This is correct, but not more:
With NAND chips providing page sizes > 512 Bytes
chip->ecc.bytes are calculated > 6 in txx9ndfmc_nand_scan.

There is a common requirement for not using OMAP specific omap_readw() /
omap_writew() function calls in drivers/, but replace them with
readw() / writew() on ioremap()ped addresses passed from arch/ instead.
The patch implements this idea for the Amstrad Delta NAND driver. To be
able to use the modified driver, the board file is updated with the
platform device I/O resource declaration, which is passed from there.

In checking for the ONFI revision, the first conditional (for checking
"unsupported" ONFI) seems unnecessary. All ONFI revisions should be
backwards-compatible; even if this is not the case on some newer ONFI
revision, it should simply fail the second version-checking if-else block
(i.e., the bit-fields for 1.0, 2.0, etc. would not be set to 1). Thus, we
move our "unsupported" condition after having checked each bit field.
Also, it's simple enough to add a condition for ONFI revision 2.3. Note
that this does *NOT* mean we handle all new features of ONFI versions
above 1.0.

inclusion into a defconfig, inteded to be usable with multiple OMAP1 cpu and
machine types.
Convert it to a platform driver, that should be free from this issue.

This reverts commit e14feafbe0.
The commit limits the maximum amount of bytes which can be read
at one go to the OOB size, which is incorrect, because mtd->read_oob()
allows reading multiple pages at a time, see comment near
"struct mtd_oob_ops" at include/linux/mtd/mtd.h. So this patch
breaks ABI and hence, has to be reverted.

which introduced a check of ops->ooboffs in nand_do_write_ops().
When writing in RAW mode this is called with an ops struct on the stack
of mtdchar.c:mtd_write() which does not initialise ops->ooboffs, so it
is garbage and fails this test.
This test does not make sense if ops->oobbuf is NULL, which it is in the

The first (sixt) byte in the OOB area contains vendor's bad block
information. During identification of the NAND chip this information is
collected by scanning the complete chip.
The option NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT is used to store this information in a sector so
we don't have to scan the complete flash. Unfortunately the code stores
a marker in order to recognize the BBT in the OOB area. This will fail
if the OOB area is completely used for ECC.
This patch introduces the option NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT_NO_OOB which has to be
used with NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT. It will then store BBT on flash without
touching the OOB area. The BBT format on flash remains same except the
first page starts with the recognition pattern followed by the version byte.
This change was tested in nandsim and it looks good so far :)

Currently MTD caches the last read NAND page, even if there was an uncorrectable ECC
error. This patch prevents caching in case of uncorrectable ECC errors. The reason
is that we want to allow the user to re-read the NAND page several times. In case of
unstable bits re-trying may help.
Moreover, current behavior is wrong because the first read returns -EBADMSG (correctly)
but the second read succeeds and incorrectly returns 0 (because we read from the cache).

Toshiba does not use ONFI for their NAND flash. So we have to continue
to add new IDs used by Toshiba devices as well as heuristic detection
for scanning the 2nd page for a BBM. This is a relatively harmless
start at supporting many of them.
These chips mostly follow the same ID fields of previous generations,
but there is a need for a tweak.
These chips introduce a strange 576 byte OOB (that's 36 bytes per
512 bytes of page). In the preliminary data, Toshiba has not
defined exactly how their ID strings should decode. In the future,
a new tweak must be added.
Data is taken from, among others, Toshiba TC58TxG4S2FBAxx

struct nand_ecclayout is too small for many new chips; OOB regions can be as
large as 448 bytes and may increase more in the future. Thus, copying that
struct to user-space with the ECCGETLAYOUT ioctl is not a good idea; the ioctl
would have to be updated every time there's a change to the current largest
size.
Instead, the old nand_ecclayout is renamed to nand_ecclayout_user and a
new struct nand_ecclayout is created that can accomodate larger sizes and
expand without affecting the user-space. struct nand_ecclayout can still
be used in board drivers without modification -- at least for now.
A new function is provided to convert from the new to the old in order to
allow the deprecated ioctl to continue to work with truncated data. Perhaps
the ioctl, the conversion process, and the struct nand_ecclayout_user can be
removed altogether in the future.
Note: There are comments in nand/davinci_nand.c::nand_davinci_probe()
regarding this issue; this driver (and maybe others) can be updated to
account for extra space. All kernel drivers can use the expanded
nand_ecclayout as a drop-in replacement and ignore its benefits.

This patch modifies the DaVinci NAND driver to use the
new AEMIF timing setup API to configure the NAND access
timings.
Earlier, AEMIF configuration was being done as a special
case for DM644x board, but now more boards emerge which have
capability to boot for other media (SPI flash, NOR flash) and
have the kernel access NAND flash. This means that kernel cannot
always depend on the bootloader to setup the NAND.
Also, on platforms such as da850/omap-l138, the aemif input
frequency changes as cpu frequency changes; necessiating
re-calculation of timimg values as part of cpufreq transtitions.
This patch forms the basis for adding that support.

This patch adds support to configure the AEMIF interface
with supplied timing values.
Since this capability is useful both from NOR and NAND
flashes, it is provided as a new interface and in a file
of its own.
AEMIF timing configuration is required in cases:
1) Where the AEMIF clock rate can change at runtime (a side
affect of cpu frequency change).
2) Where U-Boot does not support NAND/NOR but supports other
media like SPI Flash or MMC/SD and thus does not care about
setting up the AEMIF timing for kernel to use.
3) Where U-Boot just hasn't configured the timing values and

Since there is now a header file for AEMIF interface, the
common (non-NAND specific) defines for AEMIF registers have
been moved from nand.h into the newly created aemif.h

This patch initializes the pages per block field in CONFIG1 for
v2 controllers. It also sets the FP_INT field. This is the last
field not correctly initialized, so we can switch from
read/modify/write the CONFIG1 reg to just write the correct
value.

Seems some patches got out sync when being merged. The Blackfin NFC
driver was updated to use nand_scan_ident(), but it missed the change
where nand_scan_ident() now takes 3 arguments. So update this driver

Apparently, the check for a 6-byte ID string introduced by commit
426c457a32 ("mtd: nand: extend NAND flash
detection to new MLC chips") is NOT sufficient to determine whether or
not a Samsung chip uses their new MLC detection scheme or the old,
standard scheme. This adds a condition to check cell type.

Commit c7b28e25cb ("mtd: nand: refactor BB
marker detection") caused a regression in detection of factory-set bad
block markers, especially for certain small-page NAND. This fix removes
some unneeded constraints on using NAND_SMALL_BADBLOCK_POS, making the
detection code more correct.
This regression can be seen, for example, in Hynix HY27US081G1M and
similar.

Test on a PXA310 platform with Samsung K9F2G08X0B NAND flash,
with tCH=5 and clk is 156MHz, ns2cycle(5, 156000000) returns -1.
ns2cycle returns negtive value will break NDTR0_tXX macros.
After checking the commit log, I found the problem is introduced by
commit 5b0d4d7c8a
"[MTD] [NAND] pxa3xx: convert from ns to clock ticks more accurately"
To get num of clock cycles, we use below equation:
num of clock cycles = time (ns) / one clock cycle (ns) + 1
We need to add 1 cycle here because integer division will truncate the result.
It is possible the developers set the Min values in SPEC for timing settings.
Thus the truncate may cause problem, and it is safe to add an extra cycle here.
The various fields in NDTR{01} are in units of clock ticks minus one,
thus we should subtract 1 cycle then.
Thus the correct equation should be:
num of clock cycles = time (ns) / one clock cycle (ns) + 1 - 1
= time (ns) / one clock cycle (ns)

In mtd->write, Denali controller will use MODE_11 mode to read
NAND flash status, then return back to MODE_1O mode to do page
write.
Here comes a bug for this kind of using, sometimes controller will
not write data to NAND and just return a good interrupt to tell
driver writing work is done. The data in this page is all 0xff and
this page can not be written again. The reason is unknow.
So read Denali controller register WRITE_PROTECT to get NAND status
instead.
